Why this matters

Connectors let the assistant read your real files instead of you copying and pasting. Notion is the easiest to start with.

The 15-minute experiment

1. 1Open Claude and click your name at the bottom left of the sidebar
2. 2Click Settings
3. 3Click Connectors
4. 4Find Notion and click Connect
5. 5Sign in to your Notion account and click Allow (read access only)
6. 6Go back to Claude and start a new chat
7. 7Ask: 'What was I working on this week?' or 'Show me my open projects'
8. 8Check the answer — it should quote something real from your Notion

• You opened Notion and confirmed the quote was accurate
